We’d like to take this time to spread our love of food. These are some of our favorite dishes from around the community at amazing local eateries. Please show them some love, they deserve it.
Nancy’s Rosemary & Sage
You might not know this, but Rosemary & Sage is actually run by Chef David Dill’s sister, Nancy. They have an amazing spread from Chicken Club to Filet Mignon. Call in and ask Nancy for a recommendation, tell her David sent you.
Such a kind family with delicious food. It’s hard to go wrong with one of their pizzas, but here is a tip for quarantine. Pick up a catering size tray of their Saybrook Tortellini, it will make an amazing go-to throughout the week.
Mindy K Deli
Wow, are you in for a treat. How about a deep flavorful Pho, a delicious Pad Thai, or a refreshing Spring Roll? Yes, please. Don’t even bother deciding which one, get all three. They have all the standard deli options, but the Thai dishes are too good to pass up.
If you are looking for a beautiful thin Italian-style Chicken Cutlet you need to try Kenny’s. While you’re at it pick up a Meatball Pizza. Seriously, what is in those meatballs? Delicious. An amazing diamond in the rough, across from the VW dealership.
The Whole Enchilada
The Original Beef Burrito is what it’s all about. Looking for a bit more? Then get the Original Beef Burrito Salad. You can thank us later. This one requires a trip down to Westbrook, but it’s worth it.
The Chicken Quesadilla and an order of Potato skins is our go-to, but the amazingly hearty Baked Penne Napolitana could probably feed a whole family. They are our neighbor right across the street. Good people, great food.
